If you love dogs and good music, here's your chance to help one while enjoying the other. Rocker Maria Daines, an amazing singer/composer with a band that won't quit, can be found at http://www.maria-daines.com and is holding another fundraising auction to help out overloaded shelters. The auction link is http://tinyurl.com/4k3ogve and I can't recommend her music highly enough. The cause speaks for itself.

If you haven't discovered her and her band yet, you owe it to yourself to check them out. The music is top-notch, as is the crusading spirit that drives it. Maria does some wonderful work for animal rescue; she's put out albums that will bring tears to your eyes even as they get your feet moving. Her incredible voice gets the message out about the need not to judge dogs based on their breed and the need to treat our nonhuman friends with kindness and compassion.

I'm a proud owner of several of Maria's albums; proceeds from Music United For Animals, Shelter Me, and Not Guilty! are donated directly to rescue organizations.

Make a difference in a dog's life today and turn on to the music of Maria Daines and her group!

Thank you so much for your support for this cause which is very close to my heart. It is impossible to do anything to help without a collective, compassionate effort and I feel humbled and grateful to know that between us there is enough care and concern to save as many as we can. Bless you :)
